I'm never sure how much is considered a "serving" so I don't know how many total servings are in the recipes I make. Is there anywhere I can find this information on the Weight Watchers sight? I've googled and found some information.

How many slices/servings are in a typical loaf of homemade bread, a pie, 9×13 cake pan, etc. This is where I have trouble using the Weight Watchers Recipe Builder tool. It seemed as if the oats did not cook at all. I wonder if substituting the old fashioned oats for quick cooking oats will help. That is what I am going to try soon. Will let you know how that goes.

I made this recipe a while back and found the texture way too chewy, borderline inedible. I adjust the recipe to use splenda brown sugar blend in place of the regular brown sugar and use egg beaters instead of the egg whites and full egg ( I use a 1/2 cup which is 2 egg equivalent). I also use vanilla instead of the allspice. If I am not making it for a audience that cares about the Weight Watchers points, I also add a 1/2 bag of chocolate chips! (However, be careful they can make it gooey!)

I make this bread all the time and love it! It always comes out just perfect. I generally use a family recipe that was pretty good; although I wanted to find something different and a bit on the "heavier" side, which the oatmeal would normally do. I followed the recipe precisely and the cooking time as well. The end result, awful. I don't know how this can be made edible at this point. The oatmeal didn't fully cook and it left lumps of oatmeal in it. I should go back to the food network.
