A simple, yet delicious side dish, these green beans are perfectly seasoned with lemon and butter and are a great addition to any meal. They also make a quick and easy Weight Watchers Thanksgiving recipe to include on your table this year.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh green beans - trimmed and washed
  • 1 tbsp light butter
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Lemon zest for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Steam green beans until tender, but still crisp, about 5-8 minutes.
  • Place green beans a medium sized bowl, and while they are still hot add in butter. Toss until the butter has melted.
  • Add in lemon juice and salt. Toss to coat.
  • Serve immediately.
