- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and washed
- 1 tbsp light butter
- Juice from 1/2 a lemon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Lemon zest for garnish
- Steam green beans until tender, but still crisp, about 5-8 minutes.
