As a follower of the Weight Watchers diet program, become a part of my support network for people doing Weight Watchers, and read my articles, recipes, and restaurant guide with the Points for suggested meals. This diet support program focuses on calorie intake and a low-fat diet as well as the infamous Weight Watchers points system. Many of you have emailed or submitted comments asking how to calculate your daily Points Plus allowance, so I thought it might be helpful to post all the details you need to help you out. First of all, if you are a Weight Watchers member, you really should just purchase their Points Plus calculator. It’s very inexpensive, and it allows you to not only track and calculate Points Plus values for foods, and the amount of Points Plus you’ve used in a day, it also will calculate your Points Plus allowance.

And of I bought a ton of materials to help me out – one of which includes the Weight Watchers Dining Out Companion which is VITAL if you want to know the new Points Plus values for all your fave restaurants.

Now, I don’t really know a whole lot about it myself yet, as Weight Watchers is being really hush hush about it, but many believe that it will be similar to the UK version, called Weight Watcher’s Pro Points.

As you’ll see in all of the low calorie recipes that I post, there is a “Point Total” given for each serving. And many of you have asked how to calculate your individual daily WW Points, in order to know the total number of points you are allowed to eat in a day.
