If you’ve got a craving for some Barbecue Potato Chips, but don’t want to salvage all your Weight Watchers Points, these “Popped” Potato Chips from Trader Joe’s will definitely satisfy your craving. I LOOOOOOVE BBQ Potato Chips, but it’s hard to find low calorie versions that taste really good, so when I saw these in the store, I was really excited to give them a try. They were fabulous! Each 19 chip serving is just a 2 Point Total. But here’s the best part…if you eat the WHOLE bag (and yes, I sometimes do – I’m human), you are just consuming 8 total points! Though not recommended, it’s not bad for eating a whole bag of chips. Wanna learn more about them? Keep reading!

Trader Joe’s “Popped” Potato Chips

Though not an official Weight Watchers Snack, these incredible chips are an ideal alternative to your conventional potato chip and an ideal treat for anyone trying to cut calories but still enjoy great taste. They have less than half the fat of a regular potato chip but keep the great taste. And they are amazingly light, airy and very flavorful! I’ve also found the the bags have very few broken chips. They aren’t baked OR fried…they are cooked with pressure. I don’t know how they do it, but man, they are GOOD! They also come in regular salted flavor, but the BBQ ones are much better.

Entire bag has 3 servings
Serving size is 19 chips
Serving size = 2 Point Total

So, yes, it’s been a while since I posted a Fabulous Food Find Friday post, but I’ve got a yummy one today, and a coupon for all of my readers too! Forgive me? :)
The super awesome folks at Yoplait sent me over some samples of their Yoplait Delights Parfait to try out and I was eager to give it a taste. I must admit that I’m typically a skeptic when it comes to low fat yogurt…it usually tastes fake or chemically to me, and that’s a turn off (see my other fabulous yogurt finds). But when I tried these Yoplait Delights, I was thrilled!!!! SUPER YUMMY!! And each, nicely sized portion, has just 2 Weight Watchers Points! They come in 4 sinful flavor combos, but I only taste tested the Lemon Torte and the Triple Berry Creme and LOVED them!! All 3 grocery stores I went to were out of the Creme Caramel and the Chocolate Raspberry, so I can’t share my thoughts on those flavors yet, but I LOVE…I mean seriously am IN LOVE with anything chocolate raspberry, and creamy caramel flavored goodies also steal my heart, so I can’t wait to get my hands on these low calorie snacks!

Yoplait Delights Low Fat Yogurt – 2 Points

With just 2 Points per serving, these babies make wonderful, everyday low calorie snacks. You really can’t go wrong here…they taste greay, they are good for you, and they won’t use up all your Weight Watchers Points.

Here’s what Yoplait had to say about their rockin’ low calorie, low fat Parfaits….

In a recent study* nearly nine out of 10 women stated they were interested in 100-calorie foods that could help them tame afternoon cravings. Helping to make mid-day snacking satisfying and guilt-free, General Mills introduces new Yoplait® Delights™, a rich and creamy layered yogurt parfait with 100 calories per serving. Yoplait Delights’ unique flavor combinations include Chocolate Raspberry, Triple Berry Crème, Lemon Torte and Crème Caramel.

The new “Yoplait Delights Snacking Survey,” which polled more than 2600 women, exposed and underscored the overwhelming desire for a satisfying treat you can feel good about eating. Key results include:

• 93 percent of women experience an afternoon “slump” and crave a snack.
• Only 1 out of 10 are always happy with their current snacking options.
• 83 percent of women admit they sometimes feel guilty when cravings take over and they reach for sweets.
• The majority of women surveyed look for something tasty and convenient when choosing a snack.

New Yoplait Delights have two luscious layers, giving a taste experience unlike any other. Each cup will satisfy cravings with 100 calories per serving and 1.5 g of fat. Yoplait Delights is available nationwide at a suggested retail price of $2.99 for a package of four-4oz cups.

If you have a Trader Joe’s in your neighborhood, RUN, don’t walk, to the nearest Trader Joe’s, and pick up some of these AWESOME Weight Watcher Chocolate Chip Cookies! Produced by Trader Joe’s, you’ll get 5 of this yummy, low calorie cookies for a 2 Point Value. And the best part is that these healthy chocolate cookies are LOADED with vitamins, fiber and antioxidants! That’s right, I said HEALTHY. And they really, really are! Chocolate Chip Cookies with a healthy dose of good-for-you ingredients….not bad. And they actually taste quite good! A bit on the small size, but hey, you get five of them, so it’s definitely an awesome Weight Watcher snack in my eyes. So, you wanna know the name of these fabulous chocolate chip cookies? Read on, my friends!!

Low Calorie, Healthy Chocolate Chip Cookies

They are called Righteous Rounds and are produced exclusively by Trader Joe’s. I can’t find a pic of the package anywhere, but they are in a bright orange bag, with yellow title lettering on a pink background. If you don’t have access to a Trader Joe’s you might have to call a friend or family member who is near one, and have them send you some! And if your Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry these low calorie cookies, ASK THE MANAGER IMMEDIATELY!!
Ok, so let me tell you why these cookies rock….
Part of the magic is that these weight watcher cookies have never been heated to more than 75 degrees. Instead, the moisture of the dough has been taken out, leaving a crispy cookie. This innovative process means that the chocolate chip cookies can retain the goodness of the nutrients in the cookies dough, which includes lycopene and beta -carotene. Both fruit and vegetable concentrates were added to the dough, and they are packed with fiber, making these tasty little cookies righteous indeed. They also feature many of the ingredients of a traditional chocolate chip cookie like brown sugar, vanilla and butter. They also have organic soy protein, molasses and cocoa to bolster great flavor and texture. Oh, and the most important part– they have lots of yummy chocolate chips in them!!
This healthy cookie is an absolute MUST try. Seriously.

Here’s the stats:
Serving Size: 5 cookies
Calories: 130
Total Fat: 4g
Total Fiber: 3g
0 Trans Fat, 4 g of Protein
Weight Watcher Point Total – 2 Point

PLUS, it has 50% Daily Value of Vitamin A, 35% Daily Value of Vitamin C, 10% Daily Value of Calcium, 6% Daily Value of Iron, 30% Daily Value of Thiamin, and 10% Daily Value of Riboflavin.

DISCLAIMER: This is not an official Weight Watchers Cookie. Nor is it a Weight Watchers Recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Yes, the Gods have finally answered my prayers….a ZERO calorie pasta has been created! When I first heard about <a href="http://www.laaloosh.com/miracle-noodle/zero-calorie-pasta"rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Miracle Noodle">Miracle Noodle and their no-calorie Shirataki noodles, I was hesitant to believe it was possible to have pasta that has no calories, yet my interest was piqued. I knew I had to try it. After reading through Miracle Noodle’s website, I learned a lot about these special Shirataki noodles. Unlike typical pasta noodles which are made from grain-based flours, and thus loaded with lots of calories and carbohydrates, Shirataki noodles are made from yam flour. So you wind up with gluten-free, calorie-free, low-carb pasta! Granted, the texture of these noodles is a bit different than regular pasta, but the taste is good, they are quite filling, and you can use these in a such wide variety of recipes. And when you think of the calories you’re saving, it’s a fantastically fair trade.

In order to satisfy my curiosity, I decided to give these Miracle Noodles a try. So this weekend, I tried their orzo pasta with a recipe I made from scratch. It was DELICIOUS!! Because you wind up saving so many calories with the pasta, you can afford to add in some full fat versions of other ingredients (like cheese!), thus enhancing the taste and texture without blowing up the calories and Weight Watchers Points value of the dish. The orzo is extremely versatile and can used in many, many recipes!! And I would also recommend the orzo pasta as a great substitute for rice. Miracle Noodle also offers a great variety of different zero calorie pastas like angel hair pasta, fettuccini noodles, rigatoni, lasagna noodles and A LOT more!! All of the noodles absorb much of the flavor of the other foods that you are cooking it with, so feel free to add extra salt or seasonings to your dish. Based on what I’ve tasted of their noodles so far, I can’t wait to try the others and see what astounding recipes I can whip up! I believe that these Miracle Noodles are going to be an AMAZING tool for anyone trying to lose weight.

You’ll be reading a lot more from me in the future on these little bags o’ wonder, as I am excited to experiment and de-calorize some of my favorite pasta recipes! They are easy to work with, and the recipe possibilities with these babies are endless…I am already fantasizing about the tasty recipes I can create! They can be used in soups, casseroles, traditional pasta dishes, stir-fry’s…..and so much more!

As of right now, these noodles are only available online at: <a href="http://www.laaloosh.com/miracle-noodle/zero-calorie-pasta"rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="Miracle Noodles">MiracleNoodle.com

Make sure to check out my first ever, and super delicious, Miracle Noodle Recipe!
