Today’s Fabulous Food Find was a recent discovery from my local Costco, and boy am I ever glad I found it!! Green Chopsticks Authentic Chicken Potstickers are not only incredibly tasty, they are just 4 Points + for 4 pieces! And these are NOT bite-sized potstickers, mmmkay? They are very nicely sized! Perfect for when you want to make a meal in mere minutes and/or for when you are having a serious potsticker craving but don’t want to go overboard on your Points Plus. Just toss these into rapidly boiling water, and they are ready in just 3-4 minutes. Serve them paired with a salad, roasted veggies or in a soup. I make a fabulous gyoza dipping sauce, that takes just a minute to throw together, and seat them with that….sooooooooo good! So the next time you are at Costo, keep an eye out for these babies! Also, checkout their website or Facebook page to see where else you can buy them.
If you love garlic aioli, but hate all the cholesterol, fat, and sodium in most traditional aioli, then you will be thrilled to learn about today’s Fabulous Food Find – Garlic Essence Vegan Aioli from Taste of Essence. Aoili is a traditional French sauce made from garlic, lemon juice, egg yolks and olive oil. While there are many variations on the market, I don’t ever recall a Vegan version tasting as amazing as Garlic Essence. Creamy, garlicky, and incredibly rich, it feels and tastes exactly like a traditional aioli, but with less fat and zero cholesterol. Keep reading to learn more….
Ok, folks, as you may know (IF you are an avid reader of LaaLoosh), I ADORE hot sauce. I am always on the lookout for the new, tasty versions to try, and over the many years and many bottles I’ve sampled, I’ve only found a handful that have really stolen my heart (and taste buds). And today’s featured Fabulous Food Find, the new Bah BAH Hot Sauce, is one of them. The makers of this new hot sauce got in touch with me and asked if I’d be willing to try their product and give them some feedback. Of course, I was willing and eager! When I read that the makers had Persian roots, I knew Bah BAH (which means Mmmm mmm, btw) was gonna be good, but I honestly had no idea that it was going to be as incredible as it was. And I cannot say enough good things about it…it’s fantastic. I’d had it for a week, and the whole bottle was finished….I could NOT stop eating it! I was literally looking for food, ANY food, that I could use as a vehicle to consume more of this deliciousness. Keep reading to learn more about Bah BAH Hot sauce…
No longer just for kids, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Puffs Baked Puffed Snacks are ridiculously yummy, and surprisingly Weight Watchers friendly. This classic snack just got some new bigger and bolder flavor options, each of which are just 4 Points + for each impressively sized serving of 41 goldfish. You can now get them in Mega Cheese, Buffalo Wing, Salsa Con Queso, and Cheddar Bacon. WOW. Just typing those flavors has got me salivating! These are perfect for when you need a crunchy snack that is incredibly flavorful, but still low enough in Points to help keep you on track. To keep from going overboard, I like to buy a bag or two, and then divide up servings into individual Ziploc baggies. That way, when I’m craving a snack, I can just grab a little bag and go. This is also key for keeping me from eating half the bag during my late night munching. Toss them in your purse, briefcase, lunch bag, glove compartment…wherever you need to store some emergency snacks. Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Puffs Baked Puffed Snacks are truly delicious and while they aren’t a nutritional powerhouse, they are a very tasty snack to indulge in on occasion.
You guys…Girl Scout Cookies…in a coffee creamer. Can you really go wrong with that!?? I don’t always use flavored creamers in my coffee, though there are a few that I enjoy on occasion. However, I am OBSESSED with Girl Scout Cookies…Thin Mint and Caramel and Coconut in particular, so when I saw these Coffee-mate Girl Scouts Cookie Liquid Creamers hit store shelves, I practically flew home to brew a cup of coffee and give these a try. And while it’s no perfect substitute for actual Girl Scout cookies, these tasty little liquid creamers were certainly delicious and definitely offered a low calorie way to help satisfy my sweet tooth. They come in two flavors -Thin Mint and Caramel & Coconut, and both are equally delicious. These would be perfect for an after dinner cup of coffee instead of a high calorie dessert, as they are each just 1 Points + per serving.
I have always been a huge fan of Gardein’s amazing lineup of meat free products, but I practically did backflips when I recently found there Beefless Sliders and their new Crispy Chick’n Sliders. These entirely vegan sliders taste absolutely amazing, and with the bun included they are only 4 Points Plus for the faux beef sliders and 5 Points Plus for the faux chicken sliders! You guys…these are seriously amazing. I am NOT a vegetarian, so when I like a meat-free product, it better be good. Gardein’s sliders DO NOT disappoint! I’ve enjoyedmany of their other products too, like THESE and THESE, which I highly recommend I found these vegetarian sliders at a SuperTarget, but they should start appearing in grocery stores soon, so keep an eye out.

From the makers of Stevia in the Raw ad Sugar in the Raw, the “In the Raw” company has launched a brand new natural zero calorie sweetener – Monk Fruit in the Raw. This new sugar alternative, which offers an even more closer to sugar taste than Stevia, is made with real fruit and is 100% natural. You might not have heard of monk fruit before…in fact I hadn’t either until recently. But according to legend, monk fruit is named after the Buddhist monks who first cultivated it nearly 800 years ago. Ever since then it has been treasured for its health-giving powers and its unique low-calorie sweetness. If you are looking for a healthier alternative to artificial sweeteners, this is definitely one to try! Read more to find out how to get a coupon and free samples…
Sometimes, when I am rushed in the morning and don’t have the time to make a healthy breakfast, I often end up at Starbucks, which can be a dangerous place. To avoid going to Starbucks and being tempted by their sweet treats, I find it very helpful to have some of these Special K Flatbread Breakfast Sandwiches on hand. I just found these in the freezer section at Walmart, and I am so glad I picked them up! With less than 250 calories per sandwich and a good source of protein, Kellogg’s Special K Flatbread Breakfast Sandwiches are a delicious warm breakfast option made with multigrain flatbread, real eggs, tomatoes, cheese and seasoned sausage.
Flatout Foldit Soft Pretzel Artisan Flatbreads…whoah. Mind = BLOWN. I have always been in love with soft pretzels, and I’ve always been a fan of Flatout Flatbreads. So when Flatout created these new folding, soft pretzel flatbreads, it was like my two best friends got married! I was so excited to try them! While it doesn’t taste 100% like a soft pretzel, it is definitely similar, and it offers a delicious new breading option for sandwiches, burgers, mini pizzas, and so much more. Flatout offers a variety of other flavors in their “foldit” flatbreads too, but the soft pretzel flavor is the champion.
Popsicle Sour Patch Kids
For a limited time, the Popsicle brand has released an amazingly delicious new popsicle! These lime, raspberry and orange frozen pops feature the flavors of Sour Patch Kids candy, and even though they contain no artificial sweeteners, they are just 1 Weight Watchers Points Plus each. Each Sour Patch Kids popsicle has a layer of sour on the outside and then sweet on the inside — just like the candy. I LOVE all things sweet and sour, so as soon as I spotted these in the grocery store, I scooped them, ran home and devoured one…it was SO good. This summer, I’ll definitely be keeping a few boxes in my freezer, as these Sour Patch Kids Popsicles are my saving grace. They satisfy my craving for sweet and sour and are a LOT less Points than a package of Sweet and Sour Kids. What a wonderfully cool Weight Watchers snack for a hot summer’s day!
When it comes to chocolate, I’m not ashamed to admit that Hershey’s is one of my absolute favorites. Maybe it’s because I grew up in PA, maybe it’s because Hershey’s chocolates were always in my Easter basket each year as a child, or maybe it’s because Hershey’s chocolate is just delicious. DELICIOUS, people! But being on Weight Watchers has made me severely limit my Hershey’s candy intake. Don’t get me wrong, every now and then, I will indulge in my favorite Hershey’s chocolate selection, but I really wish I could have them more often. I tried having a bag of the Hershey’s kisses at home and eating just a few, but that’s just asking for trouble. So when Hershey’s came out with their new Simple Pleasures, I was really excited. For just 5 Points +, I can eat 6 pieces of portion controlled, individually wrapped chocolates. They are very rich and satisfying, and after 6 pieces, I feel like I’ve definitely kicked my chocolate craving in the butt.
