Yes, please!! With the new Dulce de Leche flavored brand of Cheerios coming out this month it’s an absolute possibility. And I already have some great ideas on how I can plug them into some Weight Watchers Dessert Recipes! The nutritional stats are pretty decent – each 3/4 cup serving is just 3 Points +. Granted, it’s not Dulce de Leche ice cream, but hey, for just 3 Points, it’s a pretty decent substitute. I can already see myself just eating handfuls of them when my late night sweet tooth kicks in. Sweet and crunchy is a great combination. I’ll definitely be grabbing a box or two of these Dulce de Leche Cheerios as soon as they hit my grocer’s shelves!

<span

I love a good crunchy snack, especially pita chips, but it’s not always easy to find ones that are both yummy and Weight Watchers friendly. These new Kashi Pita Crisps have just 3 Points Plus per serving, and each serving is 11 crisps. What I do, to prevent myself from eating more than 1 serving , is to divide the whole box into individual servings and store them in little Ziploc bags. That way, if I need a quick, healthy snack on the go, I can just grab a little pre-portioned bag, rather than stand there and count out 11 crisps. Plus, if I’m snacking on them at home, I tend to feel guilty going back for another bag, so I just stick with one, and that helps keep me in control. Wanna learn more about Kashi’s TLC Pita Crisps? Keep reading!!

<span

Both savory varieties are crunchy snacks you can feel good about craving. Naturally Pita Crisps are free of artificial flavors, hydrogenated oils and cholesterol. Each serving provides 10 grams of whole grains, 5 grams of fiber* and 3 grams of protein. Yay!! And they currently come in 2 different flavors: Zesty Salsa and Original 7 Grain with Sea Salt. Remember when Wonder Bread used to make those DELICIOUS 1 Point hot dog buns? Me too. And I was so beyond sad when they discontinued them. For many a month I mourned their loss, and then was beyond overjoyed when I saw that Orowheat/Arnold’s came out with a new product called “Fill ‘ems”. Finally, I could have a low Points + hot dog again – life is good. Keep reading too get the low down on this Fabulous Food Find!

<span

They are a great 1 Point Sandwich Roll or hot dog bun and work so will with a variety of Weight Watchers Sandwich Recipes. Why Orowheat has NO info about the Fill’ems on their website is beyond me, but I have seen them at a variety of major grocery stores. Granted, back on the old WW Points System, these rolls were just 1 Point each, but now they are 3 PointsPlus each. If you are looking for a good low calorie sandwich roll, you must check these out!

Serving size is 1 sandwich roll<br

Now, for those of you who are serious Weight Watchers foodies, you probably are already aware of this monstrously delicious PB alternative. BUT, as one of my readers so graciously reminded me last week (thanks, Leah!) not everyone may be aware that this product exists. So, I figured it’s definitely worth a blog post, because if you are a peanut butter lover and also a weight watcher who rarely indulges in PB because of the super high Points value, then this may seriously be the best Friday of your life. Wanna know what this product is?!?!?? Well, keep reading, folks!

Low Calorie Peanut Butter Substitute

With just 100 calories, 2 grams of fat and 2 grams of fiber, Better’n Peanut Butter has just 2 Weight Watchers Points Plus per serving. And that serving size is a whopping 2 tbsp!! Better’n Peanut Butter is the all-natural product of the Wonder Natural Foods Corporation that can be used in all the ways that you now use regular peanut butter, but instead of 16 grams of fat per serving, Better ‘n Peanut Butter delivers less than 3 grams of fat per serving and qualifies as a low fat food by USFDA standards. It comes in Original Creamy, Chocolate flavor (hello, lovah!) and Low Sodium Peanut Butter. Some local health food stores or Trader Joe’s may carry this, but you can also buy it online. Enjoy!!

Serving size is 2 tbsp<br

This Fabulous Food Find Friday, I want to tell you about The Skinny Cow’s new portion-controlled low fat ice cream cups, which come in 5 different flavors: Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Dulce de Leche, Strawberry Cheesecake, Caramel Cone, and Cookies ‘N Cream and I was amazed at how delicious and rich these were!! I snatched up each flavor at the grocery store and they are all fabulous. Though my favorite was the Dulce de Leche. They range from 150-170 calories, 1-3 grams of fat and 4 grams of fiber, giving them just 2-3 Weight Watchers Points each. Not bad!! The cute little cups give you the same feel as eating a pint of ice cream, except its not a pint and it’s low calorie ice cream. A great Weight Watchers snack idea!!

<span
