Posted on September 30th, 2011 Man, I love Trader Joe’s….what did I ever do before this store existed? Just recently, I was spotted their Queso Cheese Dip on the shelf, and was REALLY craving some. I almost walked away, assuming that it’d be super fattening and way too many Points Plus, but I decided to pick it up and just have a look. Well I’m sure glad I did!!! I was BLOWN AWAY by what I saw on the nutritional label…each 2 tbsp serving has 0 Points Plus!!!
Posted on September 9th, 2011 Hot Dogs have always been a staple in my diet…they are quick and easy to cook, are mostly inexpensive, and let’s face it….pretty damned delicious. Though, when I was pregnant, I avoided eating them because of all the nitrates in most brands. So when I found these Organic Beef Hot Dogs from Applegate, I was pretty excited to give them a try!
Posted on August 19th, 2011 I’ve always been a big fan of Kashi products, and when they released their new line of TLC Pita Crisps, I was totally excited to give them a try. I love a good crunchy snack, especially pita chips, but it’s not always easy to find ones that are both yummy and Weight Watchers friendly. These new Kashi Pita Crisps have just 3 Points Plus per serving, and each serving is 11 crisps.
Posted on August 12th, 2011 I’m not always one to fill up on artificial sweeteners, but every now and then, I think it’s OK to indulge a bit. And these new Mocktail Mixes from Crystal Light are a great way to splurge! Instead of filling up on the high calorie cocktails that I love, I can crab one of these tasty little drinks for just 5 calories per serving, which is 0 Points Plus.
Posted on July 8th, 2011 Truwhip Low Calorie Whipped Topping – 1 Points Plus If you haven’t already, take a look at the ingredient list in a tub of Cool Whip the next time you are at the grocery store — there’s some pretty scary stuff in there, people. But today’s Fabulous Food Find is about to make you super duper happy if you are a whipped topping lover!! Truwhip Whipped Topping is taking the dessert world by storm with it’s fantastic flavor, fabulous nutritional stats and it’s all natural ingredients.
Posted on July 1st, 2011 Sometimes, I just really don’t feel like cooking. And when I feel like that, it’s important that I have some healthy, low calorie convenience foods on hand, or I’ll wind up at the nearest fast food drive thru. One of my recent finds are these amazingly yummy vegetable souffles from Garden Lites. They are PERFECT to pop in the microwave, and in 3-4 minutes, I have a healthy breakfast, lunch or snack.
