One of my readers asked if I knew of any good, low PointsPlus Granola Bars that would be a healthy option for a snack or breakfast on the go.

My favorite kind are the Kashi Chewy Granola Bars. They are loaded with protein and fiber, and yet lower in calories, fat and carbs than most other brands, making them just 3 Points each.

To make them, Kashi uses a unique blend of seven whole grains and sesame together with whole, roasted nuts, sun-dried fruit, and a touch of wildflower honey.

And with 4g of Fiber and 5-7g of Protein each, they are as nourishing as they are tasty.

Kashi Chewy Granola Bars

You won’t find any partially hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial anything but what you will find in these chewy granola bars – just minimally processed, pure ingredients, and natural goodness.

Available in the following flavors: Cherry Dark Chocolate, Trail Mix, Peanut Peanut Butter, Honey Almond Flax, and Dark Mocha Almond.

These are the perfect low Points snack idea for any Weight Watcher!

PER SERVING: 120-140 calories; 2-5 g fat; 19-24 g carbohydrates; 5-7 g protein; 4 g fiber

  1. Hey, just as another option—I LOVE the fiber one bars—chocolate and oats. It has honey, chocolate and is FANTASTIC. It is fiber loaded and only 2 points per bar. It is very filling and doesn't taste like cardboard or that weird dry taste that/lack of sweetness that often comes with fiber products. They are a bit expensive–about a buck per bar at Giant Eagle/Krogers, but for 7.00 you can get the mega-box of 20 at Sam's Club.

  2. Hey LaLoosh-

These came up as 4 points plus each on points calculator.

  3. I eat one of the Kashi chewy Trail Mix variety every morning on the way to work. They are yummy and quick! I am SO glad to read that they

are highly reccommended too, by you!
