If you are a Weight Watchers member or even a dieter of another program, surely you’ve heard of The Laughing Cow and their low-calorie cheese wedges. I’ve had them myself quite a few times and love to mostly use them as a portion-controlled snack with some of my favorite crackers.

Recently, they’ve just added a new low-calorie cheese to their collection – The Laughing Cow Smooth Sensations Cream Cheese Spread! This new cream cheese comes packaged just like all their other cheeses – in those cute little individually wrapped wedges packed into a darling little circle box. And each little cream cheese wedge has just 1 Point.

The Laughing Cow Smooth Sensations Cream Cheese Spread

The cream cheese comes in four of the 1/3 less fat flavors — Classic Cream, Strawberries & Cream, Cinnamon Cream, and Garden Vegetable, each with only 45 calories and 4g fat per wedge – not bad! I prefer the Strawberries and Cream and the Cinnamon Cream – they are really good!

I like to stash a few in my purse and then head over to my favorite bagel spot for a warm, fresh bagel, and top it with The Laughing Cow Cream Cheese Spread. By using my light cream cheese, but still getting the not so Weight Watchers friendly bagel, it makes me feel like I’m only being half bad :).

Their website also has some great recipe ideas, and I’ll be working a few myself very soon. This is definitely a must-have item to keep stashed in your fridge if you are a cream cheese junkie!

  1. I love the blue cheese Laughing Cow cheese. I spread it on Pretzel Crisps (buffalo wing flavor.) It’s the low cal way of enjoying the flavors of buffalo wings and blue cheese.

  2. The one I get is also 1 pt. for 2 wedges.  I have only tried one flavor so far.  The light swiss & it is good.  If I don’t have many points I spread it on celery instead of crackers.

I love the laughing cow cheeses! My favorite is the garlic and herb. It makes a wonderful spread for sandwiches instead of using cheese or mayonnaise. I also do that with my subway subs to save alot of points but still get that wonderful flavor. Thanks for your site I just love it.

I love Laughing cow cheese.  Here in Canada, the “flavours” are a bit limited, but when I pop over the border, I always pick up some other types.  I’ll be looking out for the cream cheese version soon.  Thanks so much for the tip…..and also for your fantastic site.  I love that your recipes have points plus values included.  Have a great weekend!!!

  5. I love the laughing cow cheese and follow ww. One of my favorites for lunch is a Flat Out (light kind) spread with a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese, thin sliced apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Only 3 ww points +. Yummy snack for little points.

  6. Actually I am a WW member and 2 wedges of the light version is 1 points plus! so that’s even better reason to eat them : )
