Cucina Antica Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce

According to their website, here’s what Cucina Antica has to say about their Tuscany Pumpkin Sauce…

“Inspired by Italy’s rustic harvest, Chef Neil Fusco brings you Cucina Antica Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce. His all-natural artisanal blend of peak harvested pumpkin, flavorful San Marzano tomatoes, and an aromatic combination of garlic, rosemary and sage, is simmered with a touch of cream and perfected small batches. With a delicate hint of honey and cinnamon, this soul-warming sauce achieves a well-balanced earthy character robust enough to be tossed with cheese ravioli, and yet light enough to drizzle over a sautéed medley of fresh vegetables. Simmer with cream for a Cream of Pumpkin Soup. The possibilities are endless with a sauce as savory and versatile as this!”

  1. I just bought a jar at Sprouts for $5.99. The other poster must have been looking on their website. Can’t wait to try this!!!

  2. Kinda glad i randomly found this. i have a a serving size of this left in the fridge but i had been putting off eating it because i couldn’t remember the name to be able to figure out the point by searching for it.

i have only tried this as a soup so far. but now that i know the points, i will be having the rest of it as just a pasta sauce soon :)

  3. I’m sorry but are you kidding me?! This sauce is $8 a jar! I love your posts but this seems like Lot of money to spend on sauce. I could make my family a healthy low fat meal we could all enjoy for $10.

    • Wow!! Really? I bought mine for $4.99 at Whole Foods. $8 is pretty crazy. I’ll work on creating a recipe for a similar version :).
