Recently, I had the chance to try some new pasta sauces from Dave’s Gourmet in San Francisco.
Since I often rely on pasta as a go-to meal for the family when I’m having a lazy day, I am always on the lookout for new and delicious pasta sauces that are not only delicious and low in Weight Watchers Points, but I also that are natural and preservative free.
So when I got my package of Dave’s Gourmet Pasta Sauces in the mail, I was beyond excited to try them. And I was NOT disappointed!
I tried the Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce (3 Points), the Wild Mushroom Pasta Sauce (2 Points) and the Organic Red Heirloom Pasta Sauce (1 Point), but he also has a few other amazing flavors as well: Masala Marinara Pasta Sauce (4 Points), Organic Roasted Garlic & Sweet Basil Pasta Sauce (1 Point), and Organic Roasted Garlic & Sweet Basil Pasta Sauce (1 Point).
I have to say, I adored all of the ones I tried, and am looking forward to buying some more. They are a little pricey ($8.99 for a 25.5oz jar), but when a product is made with such fresh, natural ingredients, the taste is superior and is well worth the extra cost. My favorite was the Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce, which was the winner of the “Best Pasta Sauce” at the New York Fancy Food Show. I’m not surprised…it was delish.

I am obsessed, OBSESSED with hot sauces so I love to test my palette and see what it will tolerate. Dave’s hot sauces were not only hot, as promised, but very flavorful and unique. I am definitely on board with that!
