Gardein Mandarin Orange Crispy Chick’n

About a year ago, I posted about one of my favorite vegetarian product, Gardein Crispy Tenders. I absolutely adore their whole line of meat-free goodies, but when I came across their Mandarin Orange Crispy Chick’n, I almost started doing cartwheels in the freezer aisle of Whole Foods. Chinese take out is a major weakness of mine, so if I could find a healthier substitute that is still super tasty but a lot lower in Weight Watchers Points, I’d be beyond thrilled. Well, Gardein really came through. This Vegan substitute for the Chinese Orange Chicken that we all know and love is AMAZING. And just 4 Points per serving! Keep reading to learn more…

Gardein’s all natural line of products contains no meat, dairy or eggs and is free of preservatives and artificial flavors. Their Gardein Mandarin Orange Crispy Chick’n is designed to taste similar to orange flavored chicken. And their goal is to create healthier foods that are plant based, and taste as close to fast food as possible. I would say that they have definitely achieved this goal! Make sure you check the ingredients! I have been eating really clean. My husband found their products and cooked it for me. Later, I checked to find yeast extract (MSG) in all their products we had in the freezer!! Don’t know how you consider that healthy

  2. They had these at Costco in Tacoma for $9.96 so my husband and I decided to try them after seeing them on here. WOW!! I must say for not being chicken they sure are delicious!!
