If you’ve got a hankering for apple pie but don’t want to blow a day’s worth of Points Plus on a small little slice, Dunkin’ Donuts’ Apple Pie Coffee is a pretty delicious alternative. The coffee itself is practically calorie free, just be careful about what you add into it. But with a bit of reduced fat cream and sweetener, this is one tasty morning pick me up that will have you feeling a LOT less guilty. I love to have a small cup after dinner because I always crave something sweet. This coffee does the trick. And the bonus is that the caffeine gets me energized enough to write a new Weight Watchers Recipe for you all to read :).
You guys…Girl Scout Cookies…in a coffee creamer. Can you really go wrong with that!?? I don’t always use flavored creamers in my coffee, though there are a few that I enjoy on occasion. However, I am OBSESSED with Girl Scout Cookies…Thin Mint and Caramel and Coconut in particular, so when I saw these Coffee-mate Girl Scouts Cookie Liquid Creamers hit store shelves, I practically flew home to brew a cup of coffee and give these a try. And while it’s no perfect substitute for actual Girl Scout cookies, these tasty little liquid creamers were certainly delicious and definitely offered a low calorie way to help satisfy my sweet tooth. They come in two flavors -Thin Mint and Caramel & Coconut, and both are equally delicious. These would be perfect for an after dinner cup of coffee instead of a high calorie dessert, as they are each just 1 Points + per serving.
I know we’ve all seen the Starbucks bottled Frappuccinos and the canned Refreshers and Espresso drinks at stores, but did you know that Starbucks has now brought bottled iced coffees to our local grocery stores too? Maybe it’s just me, but I was totally excited when I made this discovery. The Espresso drinks and Frappuccinos were always a bit heavy to me, and I’d MUCH rather have a lighter iced coffee. So now I can stock up on bottles of the Starbucks Low Calorie Iced Coffee at home, and save myself the hassle of stopping at Starbucks in the morning! And it’s just 1 Points + per bottle! So now I have a convenient and Weight Watchers friendy way of getting my java fix.

Truly an amazing seasonal drink, this Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe is a real treat at just 1 Points + per serving! Creamy, pumpkin-y and everything you’d expect, and it still has the whipped cream. I love the popular coffee shop version, but I’d rather save myself the $$ and the extra Points, as Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe has about 300 calories and 11 g of fat, making it 8 Points +. Yikes. This is a great drink to serve at your favorite fall holiday party, or to just enjoy yourself at anytime of the year!

In about as much time as it takes to stand in line at Starbucks and order one of their Grande Light Frappuccinos, you can make one yourself at home and save about $4.00. Just try this Frozen Blended Cappuccino Recipe and enjoy the creamy, coffee flavored goodness that you know and love. Each DIY Frappuccino has just 2 Points + and tastes fantastic. I found that the French Vanilla flavored creamer was sweet enough for me, but feel free to add in a Splenda or two if you want it really sweet. Quick and easy to make, it’s a fantastic low calorie frozen blended coffee drink recipe for any Weight Watcher. And best of all – no fancy espresso machine or name misspelling barista required. Enjoy!
