This wonderful wrap is low carb, gluten free and delicious. Romaine lettuce leaves make a perfect wrap for this Caesar inspired lunch. Instead of using premade Caesar dressing that’s high in sodium and trans fat, use yogurt and mix some herb seasonings in to give it flavor. The tuna and yogurt mixture can be made up ahead of time and help in the fridge for several days. That makes it a wonderful lunch for a busy lunch. Caesar Bistro Wrap

A simple and delicious lunch full of flavor, color and very filling.

Ingredients

  • 6 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 cup non fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 12 oz tuna (canned in water), drained
  • 2 cups tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese.

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder and basil. Mix well.
  2. In a bowl, combine the tuna and yogurt mixture.
  3. Evenly divide the tuna mixture and place it on the lettuce leaves.
  4. Place the tomatoes on top of the tuna mixture.
  5. Sprinkle on the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Roll the lettuce leaves up and serve immediately.
