  1. It’s in the crockpot for dinner tonight. Smells Great! I’m going to add mushrooms toward the end of the cooking time.

  2. It is in the crock pot right now. :) It doesn’t seem like 3 cups is enough water… hoping the juices from the meat and vegetables make up for that…?

This is cooking as we speak.  I added 1 can of stewed tomatoes and one table spoon of Better than Boullion Beef – I used salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and a bay leaf since I couldn’t find the Mc Cormack seasonings.  It looks great!  Cooking it on the stove about 3 hours.

    • Unfortunately, I don’t have the nutritional info for all of my older recipes that have the old Weight Watchers Points on them. I’m working on rebuilding them so I can get the data needed to calculate the new Points Plus.

      • Do you have the nutritional information for this stew yet and what is the serving size?

  4. I'm currently cooking this & it already smells like it'll be amazing =]

    • The serving size is 1/8th of the recipe. The actual size of that serving will depend on the size of the ingredients that you chop up. It's best to just divide the entire recipe into 8 equal sized servings.

  5. im going to try this probably tomorrow! but what about the potatoes! thats the best part!

    • Ahhh yes….potatoes are the best part! But unfortunately, potatoes would make this Weight Watchers Recipe not so diet friendly. So alas, the potatoes had to go. But don't worry — this beef stew is so yummy you won't even miss them!

  6. I'm going to try this one tomorrow. I'm guessing the third ingredient is green beans? Sounds good!
